About the Role

Work Lyf Group are recruiting on behalf of our client in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area for a skilledCNC Turner. The successful candidate will have experience inprogramming, setting, and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC lathesand will be confident working on both existing production jobs and new job setups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set, and operate CNC turning machines.
  • Set up lathes for both established work and new production runs.
  • Use Fanuc controls confidently and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain high accuracy and quality throughout the machining process.
  • Support continuous improvement and production efficiency.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner.
  • Strong understanding of Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes.
  • Ability to program, set, and operate independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Good problem-solving skills and initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
