CNC Turner - Multiple Roles (PAYE Contract)

Location: Titchfield, near Fareham, Hampshire

Contract Type: PAYE (until end of December 2026!)

About the Roles: We are expanding our team and have multiple contract vacancies for experienced machinists at our well‑equipped manufacturing facility in Titchfield, Hampshire. Roles are available across CNC Turning machining, offering a supportive and busy engineering environment.

Shift Pattern

• Training: Day shifts initially
• After Training: Early or late shifts

Shift Details & Rates

New Rates effective 2nd March.

• Day (training): 7:30 am - 4:15 pm Mon‑Thu, 7:30 am - 11:30 am Fri
  First 12 Weeks: £18.72 (£21.44 inc. holiday)
  After 12 Weeks: £19.29 (£22.09 inc. holiday)
• Early: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm Mon‑Thu, 6:00 am - 1:30 pm Fri
  First 12 Weeks: £20.59 (£23.59 inc. holiday)
  After 12 Weeks: £21.22 (£24.30 inc. holiday)
• Late: 2:00 pm - 11:45 pm Mon‑Thu
  First 12 Weeks: £22.46 (£25.73 inc. holiday)
  After 12 Weeks: £23.15 (£26.51 inc. holiday)
• Overtime: As required
  First 12 Weeks: £28.08 (£32.16 inc. holiday)
  After 12 Weeks: £28.93 (£33.14 inc. holiday)
• Sundays: As required
  First 12 Weeks: £37.44 (£42.88 inc. holiday)

Vacancies Available

• CNC Grinder
• CNC Turning: HT42 Hardinge Conquest Lathe

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, grinders, or sliding head machines.
• Work from engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Record and interpret SPC data.
• Use precision measuring tools (verniers, micrometers, plug gauges).
• Perform manual machining, toolmaking, and deburring tasks.
• Maintain safe working practices and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience Required

• Proven machining experience in relevant roles.
• CNC machinists: experience on machines such as Mori Seiki NH5000, Hardinge Conquest, Citizen Sliding Head, etc.
• Fastems experience preferred for CNC Machining Centre roles.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Competence in SPC recording and precision measuring tools.
• Apprenticeship or equivalent practical experience.
• Aerospace, defence, or regulated industry experience desirable.
• Right to work in the UK and eligible for ITAR‑controlled work.
