Title: CNC Setter Programmer (Rugby)Location: Rugby, Warwickshire, West Midlands, UKCompany: Rocket Staffing Group LimitedCNC Programmer / Setter / Operator (Siemens Milling | Fusion 360)LocationRugby, WarwickshireRate£20 per hour (DOE)HoursMonday Thursday: 07:00 16:00Friday: 07:00 12:00Occasional weekend work requiredStart DateImmediateCompany OverviewOur Client works for Companys and support critical industries including power generation and defence and are continuing to expand our CNC capabilities to support growth.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator with strong hands-on experience using Siemens-controlled CNC milling machines.The role involves a combination of CAM-based programming and on-machine work, with the majority of new jobs programmed offline using Fusion 360 from 3D solid models (STEP files). Candidates must be confident working in a model-driven CAM environment and taking jobs from model or drawing through to finished component with minimal supervision.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set, and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines using Siemens controlsCreate CNC programs using Fusion 360 CAM, primarily from STEP / 3D modelsCarry out on-machine program edits where requiredRead and interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentationSelect tooling, set datums, and adjust offsetsProve out new programs safely and efficientlyMachine components to tight tolerances across a variety of materialsPerform quality checks using micrometres, verniers, height gauges, etc.Monitor tooling condition and optimise cutting performanceMaintain high standards of housekeeping and safe working practicesWork flexibly to meet production deadlines and changing workloadsCommunicate effectively with supervisors and wider teamEssential RequirementsProven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator (Milling)Strong Siemens CNC control experience (recent and hands-on)Ability to set up jobs independently and run work unsupervisedConfident working to tight tolerancesStrong understanding of tooling, feeds, and speedsCompetent using manual measuring equipmentAdditional Essential (Process-Critical) RequirementsFusion 360 CAM programming experienceRegular experience programming directly from STEP / 3D solid modelsComfortable working in a model-driven CAM workflow, not solely from 2D drawings?
