CNC Programmer/ Machinist Aylesbury Up to £47,500

Do you enjoy creating programs on the computer and then being the one to see it become reality on the machine? This 50/50 offline programmer / CNC Miller role will allow you to do the full scope of the work, producing these complex CNC machined parts!

The Business;

You will be joining a leading precision machining business, producing complex components for the Medical, Aerospace, Defence and motorsport industries. The business don't just rely on the F1 build season, they are busy throughout the year! The best part… their facility is state of the art, with modern, top tier machinery and equipment to produce the highest spec components!

The Role;

You will be tasked with creating complex, 5 axis programs on the latest Hypermill software. The parts are complex, so the programs need to be spot on! You will then be the one to prove out your own program on 5 axis Matsuura CNC mills. You will then set the tooling and operate the machine, adjusting speeds and feeds to ensuring everything runs smoothly! You will use hand measurement quality tools as well as machine probing to make sure everything is accurate.

What we need from you;

Offline CAD/CAM programming experience (Ideally Hypermill software) Setting & operating 5 axis milling machines - Ideally on Fanuc controls Willingness to do both shopfloor and office based work, producing parts from start to finish
