Responsibilities:
Set, operate and adjust CNC milling machines (3- and 5-axis).
Programme and adjust tool and work offsets as required.
Manufacture complex one-off components and small batch production runs.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Carry out basic in-process inspection using appropriate measuring equipment.
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep a safe, clean work area.
Work collaboratively with the team to resolve machining issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Miller (setter/operator) on complex, multi-operation parts.
Strong background in 3- and 5-axis machining.
Experience with Haas (Fanuc) and/or Hurco CNC milling machines.
Confident reading engineering drawings and using a range of measuring equipment.
Experience producing precision components for sectors such as aerospace, automotive, oil & gas or similar.
Apprenticeship trained or equivalent time-served experience preferred.
Must have current UK right to work.
This is a permanent position with a competitive starting salary dependent on experience. xbpsjku
