They are looking for skilled CNC Setters to join the workforce due to further growth and to be able to hit production targets. The Role: Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Machine Setter with programming capabilities to set and operate metal cutting machinery to build tools and parts of machinery. Responsibilities include: * Set and operate machinery such as lathes, millers, grinders, cutters, presses * Inspect workpieces for defects * Measure workpieces to determine the accuracy of machine operation * Read engineering drawings to determine product specifications and tooling instructions * Select, install and adjust different tools on the machines * Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly The Candidate: * CNC Setter experience (mills, lathes, grinders etc) * CNC Programming experience (if aiming for a higher rate) * Adherence to health and safety regulations * Understanding of production procedures * A...
