Up to £40,000 depending on experience My client is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join their busy team based in Leicester producing high quality precision components Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis) Interpret technical drawings and CAD/CAM programs Perform quality checks using measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Adjust machine settings to maintain precision and efficiency Maintain a clean and safe working environment Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues as they arise Skills and experience: Proven experience as a CNC machinist or similar role Strong understanding of machining processes and materials Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications Experience with G-code programming (preferred) High attention to detail and commitment to quality Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork mindset WR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
