At Contek, we're proud to represent a client based in Dudley, specializing in reactive and planned mechanical engineering services across various industries including food, automotive, and nuclear sectors. As our representation expands, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Turner and/or CNC Millerto join the team on a permanent basis.
Working Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00pm
Position Overview: We are looking for a CNC TurnerAND/OR CNC Millerwho is proficient in programming, setting up, and operating CNC Mills 3axis and/or 2 axis lathes). The ideal candidate will have experience working with Prototrak (Lathes and Mills) and Heidenhain controls (Mills).They will play a crucial role in themanufacturing process, ensuring high-quality production and meeting strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Versed within reverse engineering and repairs within a mixture of medium to heavy environments.
The ability to look at a repair project and decide on the best methods for work holding and machining.
