A leading engineering organisation is seeking an experienced
CMM Programmer
to join their inspection team. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent understanding of dimensional inspection, and the ability to work within a fast-paced production environment. If you're a Quality Inspector with skills in CMM Programming this is a great opportunity to progress into more senior positions as you grow with the organization You will be responsible for creating, modifying, and verifying CMM programmes, conducting dimensional inspections, and supporting continual quality improvement across the site. Key Responsibilities
Prepare, develop, and verify CMM programmes for new and existing products. Perform CMM inspections on machined parts and communicate results to production teams. Carry out manual measurements on first-off and production components. Produce accurate first-off reports and non-conformance documentation. Maintain accurate CMM records and oversee programme control. Support monthly CMM verification checks and general inspection duties. Liaise with supervisors and quality teams regarding inspection findings and non-conformances. Contribute to departmental housekeeping and adherence to QHSE procedures. Provide demonstrations of inspection processes as required. Experience & Qualifications
Previous experience in a similar engineering or manufacturing environment. Proven background in
CMM programming and inspection . Experience with
PC-DMIS
software (preferred). Strong communication skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively. High standards of accuracy and quality. Benefits Package
