Health & Fitness Club leadership role delivering exceptional hospitality, member experience and team performance within a premium leisure environment. The Wellington College Health & Fitness Club is a premium leisure and wellbeing facility serving members, pupils, staff and visitors, with a strong focus on service excellence and community. Situated on the edge of the Wellington College estate, the Health & Fitness Club provides a welcoming setting for members and staff. We are seeking a confident and experienced Club Experience Manager to lead the Front of House and Club Lounge operation, ensuring a consistently high-quality and welcoming experience across all hospitality spaces. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for standards, people, performance and atmosphere, combining operational oversight with a strong focus on customer experience. Working closely with the General Manager, you will provide visible and approachable leadership to Front of House and hospitality teams, creating a culture of professionalism, warmth and accountability. You will take ownership of staffing, rotas and performance, supporting colleagues to deliver excellent service while maintaining clear expectations and consistency. Your presence on the floor will help set the tone, resolve issues calmly and ensure members and visitors feel valued at all times. The role includes accountability for licensed operations, compliance and risk management, ensuring that health and safety, safeguarding and licensing requirements are met to a high standard. You will oversee day-to-day hospitality operations, maintaining presentation, cleanliness and service quality across busy and varied trading periods, including events and College activities. You will also play an important role in the commercial performance of the Club Lounge and events programme. This includes managing stock, suppliers and budgets, monitoring performance and contributing to a varied programme of social events and member experiences that enhance engagement and support retention. Attention to detail, commercial awareness and pride in presentation are central to success in this role. This position would suit a hospitality or leisure professional with strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset and experience of managing teams in a high-quality, member-led environment. You will be organised, resilient and comfortable balancing people leadership with operational and commercial responsibilities.
