Purpose of the Job We are seeking a highly experienced Tech Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with a focus on using modern technologies and experience leading and managing software engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and development of complex software systems (client-side and server-side) Provide technical guidance and direction to the development team Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design Develop and design effective APIs Plan and execute strategies for completing projects on time Stay current on industry trends and technologies to continually improve the team's technical capabilities Ensure that all software development is done to a high standard, and that it is fully tested and deployed in a secure and reliable manner Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required 3+ years leading and mentoring engineering teams Strong technical experience leading the design and development of complex software systems Knowledge of multiple front-end and back-end languages (Node.js, React, Next.js, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and their libraries Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL Familiarity with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB Experience with event-driven architectures Proficiency with Git, Confluence, Jira Basic understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and Continuous Integration and Deployment/Delivery Ability to write application code and automated tests according to team-adopted practices, disciplines, and quality guidelines Self-starter that can take a product problem and develop a working technical solution
