Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? Horizon Teachers is seeking a dedicated and supportive Classroom Assistant to join one of our vibrant secondary schools. You’ll be working closely with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, particularly those who have been identified as having additional educational needs.

Your Role Will Include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for students with additional needs
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Supporting students with EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans)
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional well-being in the classroom
• Monitoring and recording student progress
• Helping to create an inclusive, safe and engaging learning environment
• Liaising with SENCOs, teachers and parents/carers to support student progress
