ASAP Job Description: We are recruiting a Class 2 Driver for commercial and domestic waste collection. This is a temp-to-perm role, based near penrith. The initial assignment is expected to last around 3 months while one of of our clients drivers are seconded into the office. If the role works well for both parties, there's potential for it to become permanent. Responsibilities: Collection of commercial and domestic waste Ensuring safe and timely deliveries Following health & safety procedures and company guidelines Occasional weekend work may be required Requirements: Full UK Class 2 (Cat C) licence Experience in waste collection preferred, but not essential Professional attitude and good communication skills Reliability and commitment to the role Benefits: Competitive hourly rate (£15.37) Higher pay for weekend and overtime hours Temp-to-perm opportunity with potential for a permanent role Friendly team environment The Best Connection is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
