As a Class 2 Driver you will be delivering furniture for IKEA alongside a Drivers Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role,creating a better every day! This is a full time, permanent role you will be working 48 hours?per week on a shift pattern of?5 days on, 3 days off over a 8-week rota with start times between 5am-6am . Extensive wellbeing programmes and initiatives accessible to all employees Pension scheme Driver Awards and Recognition What you will do on a typical day: Working as a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers' homesand providing a first-class customer service experience Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly secured. Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects. What you need to succeed at GXO: This is a physically demanding role which includes lifting and shiftingof furniture. Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement. No more than6current penalty points No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years Previousexperience driving category C vehicles is desirable.
