Class 1 Shunter (CE) - Tamworth
Pure Staff have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Shunter (CE) to join one of our valued clients based in the Tamworth area. This is a Monday to Friday role with ongoing work and the potential to become permanent. Immediate starts are available.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
A UK Category CE licence held for a minimum of 2 years
At least 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
No more than 6 points on your licence
Good communication skills
Strong knowledge of UK roads
A flexible and reliable working attitude

Role Details of a Class 1 Shunter (CE)

Monday to Friday
Shift times: 11:00 - 00:00 (midday to midnight)
12-hour shifts
Shunting both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles
Constant communication with Warehouse and Transport teams
A fully paid 90-minute driving assessment required prior to starting

Pay Rates

£17.50 per hour
£2.11 per hour holiday accrual
Holiday pay is accrued and banked for when you take annual leave, ensuring you're properly paid while taking time off.
