HGV Class 1 Driver – Wolverhampton, West Midlands People Solutions are currently recruiting for an

HGV Class 1 Driver

based in

Wolverhampton, West Midlands

to join our well-established client. This is a fantastic opportunity, offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. Shifts • Monday to Sunday – 5 days out of 7

• 18:30 starts Rates of Pay • Basic: £17.00 per hour

• Saturday/Sunday: £19.00 per hour

• Bank Holiday: £20.00 per hour Benefits • Excellent hourly rates

• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties • RDC trunking work

• Operate and drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly

• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management

• Assist with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills • Valid UK Category C+E licence

• Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience

• No more than six penalty points (minor infringements only)

• Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card

• Good spoken and written English

• Excellent punctuality and time-keeping

• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations

• Effective communication skills Desirable Experience • Previous commercial driving experience
