Major Recruitment are looking for Class 1 drivers (HGV 1) to work for our client based in Marston Gate.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay with consistent full-time work, and genuine long-term opportunity as these are Temp to Perm roles .
The role is delivering heating and plumbing supplies across their branch network. Multi-drop deliveries with curtain-sided tail lift vehicles, delivering palletised goods by either pump truck or FLT. Note, on nights you will be a key holder for access to premises.
Shifts available :
* Starting at £18ph - Day shifts starts - 04:00-09:00 Mon-Fri (flexibility required on this shift).
* £21ph - Night shifts starts - 22:00-03:00 Sun-Thu.
* Multi drop - average 2-8 drops per shift.
* Palletised goods
* Handling Pump Truck / FLT
To be considered for this role you must have:
* A valid CE Licence (HGV Class 1)
* DQC Card
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
* Excellent communication skills
* No more than 6 points for minor offences (no IN, DD, DR or CU80 endorsements)
Desireable:
* FLT Licence (can be in house) - preferrable but not essential - full training will be offered.
