Class 1 Driver Location : Whitland, West Wales Shift : 4on 4off, Nights Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? If 'YES,' we want to hear from you! About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Operate a refrigerated vehicle to deliver, load and unload palletised and caged products to Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs), stores and wholesale centres. Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed. Some handballing and self-tipping will be required, ideal for those who enjoy staying active and engaged throughout the day. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met. Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices. Essential Skills and Qualifications You must hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence, enabling you to operate articulated vehicles with confidence and professionalism. A current Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) and a Digital Tachograph Driver Card are essential to ensure compliance with legal and safety standards. Previous experience working with refrigerated trailers is a plus, but not essential (full training will be provided to get you up to speed). We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service, representing our brand with professionalism and care at every stop. You'll need to be comfortable working to tight schedules, managing your time effectively to ensure deliveries are made promptly and safely. A confident and polite communicator, you'll work closely with colleagues across transport and logistics, contributing to a supportive and efficient team environment.
