Class 1 Driver Job Overview
Aspion are seeking reliable and professional Class 1 HGVDrivers to join a team based in the Liverpool area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods to customers across the North West and surrounding regions. An ADR licence would be advantageous, although it is not essential.
Key Responsibilities for the Class 1 Driver:
* Safely operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle in accordance with all road traffic laws and company policies
* Carry out multi-drop deliveries and collections as scheduled
* Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in full
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
* Complete and maintain accurate delivery paperwork and tachograph records
* Load and unload goods where required, ensuring safe handling practices
* Provide a professional level of customer service at all delivery points
* Comply with driver hours regulations, WTD, and health & safety procedures
Requirements for the Class 1 Driver role:
* Valid HGV Class 1 Licence
* Driver CPC qualification
* Valid Digital Tachograph Card
* Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and driver hours rules
