Class 1 Tramper Driver - Fridge Work Location: Grimsby Pay: Competitive rates + £25 night-out allowance Schedule: Full-time | Ongoing work | Local & Nationwide deliveries The Best Connection are recruiting for an experienced and reliable Class 1 Tramper Driver to join a busy refrigerated logistics operation based in Grimsby. This is an ongoing role, Monday to Friday, delivering frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses across the UK, with a mix of local and nationwide routes. What's on Offer: Competitive hourly or day rate (client dependent) £25 per night out Modern, well-maintained vehicles Ongoing, consistent work with potential for permanent roles Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience driving Class 1 (C+E) Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card Maximum 6 penalty points (no DRs, IN10s or DGs) Experience with fridge trailers preferred Good understanding of driver hours and regulations Willingness to tramp Monday to Friday Responsibilities: Deliver frozen fish to RDCs and warehouses Ensure temperature integrity of loads Complete delivery paperwork accurately Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report defects
