4on 4off, Days About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Use curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers, to deliver goods to retail stores across the UK. Ensure all loads are safely and securely fastened using straps, nets, and other securing equipment to prevent movement or damage during transit. Manage tail lift deliveries, ensuring safe and efficient unloading at client sites. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met. Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices. Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Previous experience delivering to retail or commercial sites (preferred but not essential). A strong focus on customer service, with the ability to communicate clearly and courteously. The ability to work to tight schedules while maintaining high safety standards. A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work independently when required. Good geographical knowledge and route planning awareness. Why Join Gregory Distribution Ltd? for all shifts starting between 12:00hrs & 02:00hrs, you will receive an additional £17.50 per shift. Shift Hours : Start between 03:00hrs - 06:00hrs, based on a 4on 4off rota.
