Here atGXO Swindon we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our transport team, supporting our customer B&Q. Youll be part of a team that works together to keep projects moving, ensuring every delivery helps create homes people love.
You will be working on a full-time , permanent basis, contracted to 48 hours per week. We are currently recruiting for the following shift patterns:
Any 5 days from 7, with start time window of 22:00 to 03:00
Any 5 days from 7, with start time window of 10:00 to 15:00

An hourly rate of £18.33 , that is an annual salary of £45,768.86

What you will do on a typical day:
Carry out a mix of multidrop and trunking deliveries, typically averaging 1 to 4 drops per shift, while collecting waste from stores in line with operational requirements
Handle both palletised goods and cages, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures
Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all times
Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner??????? while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
No more than 6 current penalty points
No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
