Class 1 Driver

Location: Watford, WD25 Hours: Monday – Friday 5:15am – 3:15pm, alternate Saturdays 7:00am – 1:00pm Salary: Negotiable (DOE)

About the role:

As a Class 1 Driver , you will play a vital role in this family owned builders merchant distribution and delivery operations from their Watford branch.

You will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely distribution and delivery of goods to customer sites and projects, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver building materials across London and surrounding areas

* Operate Class 1 and 2 vehicles safely and responsibly

* Support loading of vehicles where required

* Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries

* Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects

* Ensure all delivery paperwork and records are accurately completed

* Obtain customer signatures and provide relevant documentation

* Collect payments where required
