About the Role As a Class 1 Driver, you will: Use curtain side and box trailers on single and double deck trailers, to deliver goods to retail stores on assigned routes, which may include Inverness, Perth, Aberdeen or Dundee. Ensure all loads are safely and securely fastened using straps, nets, and other securing equipment to prevent movement or damage during transit. Manage tail lift deliveries, ensuring safe and efficient unloading at client sites. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Maintain regular communication with the transport office to provide updates on delivery progress and respond to any changes or issues in real time. Represent the company professionally at every delivery point, ensuring excellent customer service and building strong relationships with store teams.
