Class 1 Driver Location: Tamworth, B77 5PR Shifts: Monday to Friday, Starting between 21:30 and 00:30 Pay Rate: £19.50 per hour
We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established automotive logistics provider based in Tamworth. This is a Monday to Friday night role with no weekend work, offering consistent routes and a stable working schedule.
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Key Responsibilities: Nationwide delivery of automotive parts including cages, pallets with engines or gearboxes (offloaded via pump truck) and light boxed items (e.g., paper bumpers) Vehicles are pre-loaded at the depot, but drivers must offload at delivery points Deliver between 2 to 15 drops per night depending on the route Routes may include destinations such as Scunthorpe, Manchester, Bolton, Exeter, Southampton, Berkley, and locations in between Requirements: Minimum 1 year of Class 1 (C+E) driving experience Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Maximum 6 penal...
