Civil Structural Design Engineer (Maritime)

A civil/structural practice with a heavy influence in the maritime sector requires a Civil Structural Design engineer to assist with a number of recent project wins.

This firm is involved with major projects across the UK and are looking for a Civil Structural Design Engineer who has minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in civil and structural design (steel and concrete). Any maritime experience would be looked upon favouribly.

The successful Design Engineer must have a good understanding of civil/structural design and will be degree qualified.

Engineers without direct Maritime experience, but have transferable heavy civil design experience (bridge, tunnel, temporary works, underground structures etc…) will still be very much considered.

This opportunity has come around due to a number of significant project wins, therefore the right individual can start immediately.

Your role will be to act a technical designer on projects whilst ensuring the output of work is carried out the correct quality and client specification. Good understanding of designing in steel and concrete is a must for this role.

Hybrid working can be offered for this role, however not fully remote.
