Expression of Interest – Project Engineers (Civil & Structural) | Power Team

Location: UK-wide | Hybrid working options available (main team in Manchester)

At BakerHicks, we’re shaping the future of energy infrastructure. Our Power team delivers complex, high-impact civil and structural engineering solutions that support substations, grid upgrades, and the transition to a low-carbon future.

As we continue to grow, we’re inviting expressions of interest from experienced Civil and Structural Project Engineers who are passionate about working on technically challenging, safety-critical projects across the UK power sector.

What we look for:

Degree-qualified in civil or structural engineering Chartered or actively working toward chartership (ICE, IStructE or equivalent) Proven experience working on projects within the UK, ideally in regulated environments A background in substation or power infrastructure projects is highly desirable Strong technical skills in reinforced concrete and steel structures Solid understanding of CDM regulations and relevant British Standards Collaborative, detail-focused professionals who thrive in multidisciplinary teams
