Civil Design Lead

We are looking for a senior leader skilled in Civil or Structural design. The right person will have detailed knowledge of structural and civil design engineering projects.. Able to oversee a small team of design engineers and a business.

This role is part of a large Group and the attraction will be delivering growth, being part of an excellent senior team which will lead to future opportunities.

* Technical (Civils) design expertise, ideally in infrastructure or electrical power and energy sectors, including substations and transmission design

* Leadership and commercial awareness.

* The ability to lead, direct and develop a strong team

* Proven ability to establish and successfully implement strategies that flow to the bottom line; improve growth and profit results.

* Educated to degree level in Engineering.and ideally C.Eng

Personal Competencies:

* A natural leader, combining technical civil design and management

* A self-starter, with resilience and understanding of working in a contracting environment

* Energy and enthusiasm to get things done and likes making decisions
