Hidden away on the second floor, our cigar lounge blends leafy Cuban aesthetics with a luxuriously elegant finish. From the chilled Havana-inspired soundtrack, to the expertise of our sommeliers, Oscuro provides a peaceful escape for cigar aficionados.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Cigar Sommelie r to join our Oscuro team.
Successful Cigar Sommelier applicants will become part of a fun, dynamic team working across all aspects of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain an up-to-date cigar list and ensure correct storage and cleanliness of humidors.
Assist guests with cigar and wine pairings, following service standards.
Support cigar stock takes and ensure accurate recording of tobacco items.
Serve food and drinks in cigar areas, keeping the space clean and ready.
Train staff on cigar knowledge and participate in daily briefings.
Attend meetings, support smooth operations, and uphold housekeeping standards.
Protect guest items and club property, reporting issues promptly.
Share member preferences to maintain profiles and enhance service.
Use resources responsibly to control costs.
Comply with all policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Take ownership of your professional development with the Head Cigar Sommelier.
Perform other duties as needed to support the club's operations.
