Days Location:Sedgley Hourly rate: From £12.30 - £13.20 per hr Hours: Full time - 38 hours per week Children's Residential Support Worker - up to £33,236.40 salary package. If you are successful with your application, we will reward you with a?starting salary of £12.30 - £13.20 per hr, (salary based on competency qualifying criteria) plus premium rates for Sleeps of £62.55 (min 1 x per week) and regular overtime opportunities to further increase earnings. The home is easily accessible via public transport from Wolverhampton. You will be providing care and support for children and young people up to the age of 18 with learning disabilities, Autism, ADHD and associated behavioural challenges, children accommodated at the home may also present with sensory impairments and minor physical disabilities. Our children and young people may have experienced trauma and/or neglect prior to coming into care. This role requires a high amount of energy, passion and willingness to go above and beyond for the young people we care for. Our home is ratedGoodwith Ofsted and prides itself on working with families and professionals, to provide opportunities for learning, increasing independence and more importantly FUN. At times this also includes split shifts. Rotas are across a full working week Monday-Sunday. What we want from you Successful candidates will

ideally have: Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare or?Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce (Social Care Pathway),?candidates who are successful and do not hold this qualification will be supported to complete this after passing their probation. You will also have experience of working with children and young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities, Autism, ADHD, sensory impairment, and associated behavioural challenges and/or complex care needs, in a residential or SEN setting. Car drivers are preferred

but not essential - as part of the role involves taking the children to appointments, to school, and to activities in the community.
