The Role Eleven 11 Recruitment is working on behalf of our client to recruit a Childrens Residential Senior Support Worker for a specialist residential service in Mundesley.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced residential childcare professional ready to take the next step into a senior role. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality care while supporting the leadership and day-to-day operation of the home.
You will help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive, develop independence, and achieve positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality care and support to young people in a residential setting Act as the senior member of staff on shift, leading and supporting the team Build strong, trusting relationships with young people and act as a positive role model Support the development of independence, life skills, and emotional resilience Line manage and support support workers, including oversight of performance and welfare Coordinate shifts effectively, allocating staff and resources as required Participate in an on-call rota to ensure consistent service delivery Work collaboratively with professionals to implement care plans Safely manage and respond to challenging behaviours
About You We are looking for candidates who: Have experience in residential childcare or a similar environment Are ready to step into a leadership role Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills Are resilient, patient, and emotionally intelligent Can lead by example and support a team effectively Are confident decision-makers and problem solvers
A full, valid manual driving licence is essential. Flexibility to work shifts, including sleep-ins and waking nights, is required.
Training & Development Opportunity to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (fully funded) within the first 24 months if not already achieved Ongoing professional development and training opportunities
Salary & Hours Full-time: 38 hours per week Includes a mixture of shifts, sleep-ins, and waking nights Sleep-ins paid at £64.95 per night (typically 5 per month) Basic salary range: £28,028
£28,978 (excluding sleep-ins)
