supporting young people aged
8-17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) . This is a
key leadership role
where you will lead shifts, support staff, and provide high-quality, therapeutic care to young people. You'll play a vital role in creating a
safe, stable, and nurturing environment
where young people can thrive. Key Responsibilities Lead shifts and take responsibility in the absence of management Provide
high-quality, child-centred care Support young people with behaviour, routines, and independence Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times Manage challenging behaviours using de-escalation techniques Maintain accurate records and reports Support and mentor junior staff Work alongside external professionals (social workers, schools, therapists) Requirements Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People (Essential) Experience in: Children's Residential Care EBD / Challenging Behaviour Mental Health or Secure Settings Experience leading shifts or working as a Senior Strong safeguarding knowledge Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins Why Join?
