As the Chef, you will be responsible for planning and preparing nutritious, delicious meals for our residents, taking into consideration dietary requirements and preferences. Main Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and serve well-balanced meals for residents and offer a variety of snacks throughout the day. Liaise with the Care Home Manager/ Operations team. Maintain a high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. Manage the kitchen, including ordering, inventory control, and food budget management. Create menus that are appealing and varied, considering the dietary needs of residents. Collaborate with team members to address resident feedback and special requests. Monitor portion control and waste. Train and supervise kitchen staff. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen. Adhere to all Food Safety and Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations. Maintain accurate records.
