Buvette London Opening Team Buvette is a globally recognised, French-inspired all-day concept founded by James Beard Award-winning chef Jody Williams in New Yorks West Village. The word Buvette refers to a gathering place with friends a neighborhood gem, or an extension of home. Jody often describes Buvette as a gastroteque: a creative expression of great gastronomy made in-house, where almost everything is prepared from scratch, down to cocktail bitters and many of the small details that shape the guest experience.
Buvette is not just a venue, but a guest journey that lingers long after the visit. It blends the atmosphere of an elegant old-world café with the casual, relaxed feel of a neighbourhood eatery. Interiors are carefully considered, celebrating nostalgia and the character of well-worn antique pieces, each with its own story. Buvette is dedicated to simply enjoying food at any time of day from breakfast and coffee through to lunch, evening drinks, and intimate late suppers.

Chef -Open Kitchen - Opening Team As as a Chef in the Open Kitchen (Gastro Section) , you will support plating, reheating, and finishing dishes in an open-plan kitchen, contributing to smooth and efficient service. This is a guest-interactive role, requiring a good level of English, strong communication skills, and confidence engaging professionally with guests. Key Responsibilities Supporting dish finishing and plating Assisting with reheating and cold section work Maintaining service flow between kitchen and floor Supporting evening gastro and coffee service Maintaining cleanliness and organization Able to work rotating shift patterns which includes earlies and lates About You Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred Strong organisation and multitasking skills Interest in food and service operations Calm and reliable under pressure Positive team-focused attitude This role operates within an open-plan, guest-facing kitchen environment Good spoken English and strong interpersonal skills are essential Some shifts will start as early as 6:00am; reliable transport links are required Strong organisation and multitasking skills Interest in food and service operations Calm and reliable under pressure Positive team-focused attitude This role operates within an open-plan, guest-facing kitchen environment Good spoken English and strong interpersonal skills are essential Some shifts will start as early as 6:00am; reliable transport links are required Strong organisation and multitasking skills Interest in food and service operations Calm and reliable under pressure Positive team-focused attitude Salary & Benefits Up to £17 per hour (a combination of basic salary and service charge) Industry-leading staff perks Expected start date: Mid April.
