42 weeks per year (term time, inset days, plus 3 additional weeks) Salary:
£40,000 per year Bonus:
Performance-related bonus of up to 10% of salary (company discretionary) Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and catering service
Prepare and deliver fresh, seasonal food at volume to a high standard
Manage, motivate, and develop the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety, and due diligence requirements
Maintain strong communication with onsite stakeholders and ensure service expectations are met
Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen organisation
Drive food quality, consistency, and presentation across the service
About You
You will be an experienced Chef Manager (or a strong Sous Chef ready to step up) with excellent cooking and people-management skills. You are confident cooking with fresh ingredients at volume and take pride in running an efficient, well-organised kitchen. Like us, you believe this isnt about school food
