Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality dishes from established menus, creating seasonal specials. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff with a calm, respectful approach. Utilise local and hotel-grown produce to promote sustainability and freshness. Maintain food safety, hygiene, and financial controls. Contribute positively to live-in team life while upholding professional standards. Enhance the guest dining experience through creativity and attention to detail. Requirements: Proven Head Chef / Chef Manager experience in high-end or boutique hotels. Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills. Knowledge of seasonal, sustainable cooking and cost control. Food hygiene certification and familiarity with UK/Channel Islands regulations. Comfortable living and working in a remote island environment. Desirable: Experience with permaculture/kitchen gardens and live-in hospitality.
