Gold is a neighbourhood restaurant and late-night bar in the beating heart of Portobello Road. Were all about honest, seasonal cooking, serving generous, shareable dishes inspired by Modern Mediterranean flavours, with much of our menu brought to life in our wood ovens.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Chef de Partie whos eager to deepen their knowledge, refine their craft, and explore the richness of Mediterranean cuisine, while still having the freedom to be creative and develop their own style.
What youll be doing:
Running your own section with confidence during service
Preparing and cooking dishes to a consistently high standard
Supporting the Head Chef and senior team in delivering the menu
Maintaining excellent hygiene and health & safety standards
Working collaboratively to create fresh, seasonal, and inspiring food
What were looking for:
A genuine love for food and passion for cooking
Experience in a high-volume, quality-driven kitchen
A motivated, ambitious mindset and desire to grow
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Fluent English and the right to work in the UK
