Reed Hospitality is delighted to be working with a respected Private Member's Club in the heart of London, recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie Responsibilities Prepare all food items on the assigned section in line with established recipes and methods. Communicate promptly with the Sous Chef or Head Chef to ensure sufficient ingredients are available for mise en place. Taste all dishes and mise en place to verify correct seasoning and flavor, confirming with senior chefs as needed. Plate dishes according to portion control guidelines and visual presentation standards before service. Adjust production levels appropriately based on business volume. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by following proper hygiene and food safety procedures. Handle and maintain all section equipment and utensils correctly and safely. Offer creative input during menu planning discussions. Train team members in the “clear as you go” method to promote cleanliness and efficiency. Prevent errors by regularly reviewing standards and expectations with the senior kitchen team. Uphold high kitchen standards in the absence of the Head Chef.
