The Role
This is a hands-on role in a compact, high-energy kitchen that punches well above its weight. You'll run your own section confidently, preparing fresh dishes for our relaxed lunch service and a more elevated evening menu.

Key Responsibilities Run your section efficiently during prep and service
Cook dishes to spec using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients
Support a changing menu with both pub classics and refined evening dishes
Maintain a clean, organised, food-safe work environment
Collaborate with a tight, supportive team under pressure
Assist with stock control, labelling, and kitchen systems
About You Experience as a CDP or strong Demi CDP in a fast-paced kitchen
Comfortable with both volume service and quality execution
Proactive, adaptable, and calm under pressure
Punctual, dependable, and a strong team player
Genuine passion for well-crafted, honest food
Working Hours 40 hours per week across 5 days (flexibility essential)
Evening and weekend availability expectedespecially during peak season
Accommodation Live-in accommodation available in subsidised staff housing (subject to availability)
Important Information Due to our remote island location, live-out applicants must have a car and valid UK driving licence
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK we cannot provide visa sponsorship
