An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade of a four-star hotel in Berkshire, live in is available.
This role is ideal for a motivated chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, thrives in a professional kitchen environment and is keen to continue developing their career.
The Role
- Preparing and presenting high-quality fresh food.
- Catering for a variety of events, such as meetings, buffets, weddings and other functions.
- Working across multiple kitchen sections as required, maintaining consistent standards of quality and presentation
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards
- Supporting food cost control and minimising wastage
- Coaching and supporting junior kitchen team members
About You
- Previous experience in a professional, commercial kitchen (hotel experience advantageous but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail with experience producing both la carte and buffet food
- Confident working with fresh ingredients in a high-volume environment
- A genuine passion xbpsjku for food and professional development
- Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards
- Reliable, flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment
- Available to work mornings, evenings and weekends on a rota basis
