*Role Summary*

The Blacksmiths Arms in Rothwell are looking for a part time chef de partie to join our team as we look to increase our output through use of the beer garden. We serve a modern gastropub menu using a range of locally sourced produce with a focus on good quality home-cooked food.

All our food is freshly prepared using the best ingredients so satisfaction in your work will be there constantly.

We are wanting to find a committed team player, who strives for the highest standards in their work. willing to learn and able to be relied upon by the Head Chef to undertake key responsibilities within the kitchen environment, upholding essential high standards and a smooth-running process.

Our ideal chef de partie will need to have a good attitude in the kitchen and have a ‘today is a good day’ thinking towards all that we do. Our kitchen will be a positive atmosphere which is a good place to work and get a lot of reward from doing so.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Can clearly demonstrate basic chef skills, creating all dish elements from scratch, e.g. sauces & desserts. * Strives for excellence, wanting to do things right, no corner cutting. * Strives for excellence to be delivered to each customer. * Is an excellent communicator and is confident in working with all kitchen and front of house colleagues, demonstrating great respect for all. * Is positive with a ‘can do’ attitude.

· Fully conversant in all Food Hygiene and Food Safety regulations

REQUIREMENTS

* Must have their own transport & driving license due to the location of the venue * Previous chef de partie experience. * Ideally has worked in a high standard gastropub. * Ideally, experience within a fast-paced, high volume, fresh food establishment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.71-£13.71 per hour
