Responsibilities:
Assume responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
Supervise and motivate junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
Assist in menu development, recipe creation, and food costing
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize wastage
Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth service and exceed guest expectations
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef de Partie ready to step up
Experience in Indian cuisine is preferred, inclduing cooking techniques, ingredients and recipes
Culinary qualification from a recognized culinary institution preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Creative flair and a passion for culinary innovation
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
