£28,333 plus up to an extra £5000 per annum bonus - OTE £31,295
We are currently recruiting a talented and results driven Category Specialist to join our busy contact centre team. Working just Mon-Fri, with no weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- To drive profitable sales growth by managing inbound and outbound contacts with our customers to promote Brakes products and services within specific categories
- Add value to every customer contact, by proactively identifying, negotiating, and converting share of wallet opportunities
- Work collaboratively with the Category Team to fully utilise our product range and supplier base to realise opportunities
- Maintain a detailed knowledge of key suppliers and competitor strategies and activities
- Have expert knowledge of category range, recent trends, product availability and proactively support to reduce stock at risk
- Capture accurate information on system and supporting tools (SAP, CRM)
- Maintaining knowledge of category and product range and developments
What we are looking for;
- Outstanding phone-based selling skills (both cold calling and prospect development) with the ability to build rapport with ease
- Previous sales experience within foodservice or a real ‘foodie’ who can relate to customers’ needs
- An ability to pro-actively manage a broad pipeline of work
- Excellent literacy and communication skills – phone and email
- Results orientated, successfully delivering against targets in a competitive marketplace
