Pay: £85–£100 per day

We are seeking a dedicated Care Support Worker to join a specialist care setting in Iver (SL0) immediately, supporting individuals with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide consistent 1:1 and small group support to children and young people with SEMH needs, including those affected by trauma, anxiety, or behavioural difficulties.
Encourage emotional regulation, build social skills, and promote healthy coping strategies.
Use structured routines, visual aids, and therapeutic techniques to create stability and engagement.
Collaborate with care staff, education professionals, and external agencies to implement tailored care and behaviour plans.
Foster a safe, calm, and supportive environment that nurtures trust and personal development.
Ideal Candidate

Experience in care, education, or youth support settings with individuals who have SEMH or behavioural needs.
A caring, adaptable, and inclusive mindset with a genuine passion for helping others.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and effectively.
Familiarity with trauma-informed care, restorative practices, and emotional coaching techniques.
Willingness to undertake ongoing training in safeguarding, mental health, and therapeutic approaches.
