Eden Manor is a luxury purpose-built care home facility providing care for up to 80 residents, the home is designed for people requiring Residential, Dementia and End of Life care. Situated in a quiet residential area within the Morton area of Carlisle in Cumbria, the home provides residents with a peaceful environment, the home is surround by beautifully landscaped gardens and Chances Park. The home offers a supportive environment with 80 En-Suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge and dining areas. Our dedicated teams are hand selected through a rigorous recruitment process to ensure we meet the residents individual care and social needs and provide an exceptional level of care, Eden Manor only employs permanent team members and has had 0 agency usage since opening in 2022. Eden Manor has a dedicated activities and well-being team who cover a 7 day period to provide engagement and socialisation to all who live in the home and the local community. We invest in the latest technology and offer a purposeful programme of daily activity and gentle exercise to enhance the experience, care and wellbeing of our residents. All team members are hand selected for their warmth and passion; they have a full induction and ongoing training from our in-house trainers.?Across Lovett Care all of our staff are paid the national minimum wage or above.
We are seeking to appoint kind, caring and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team. You will deliver quality of care to residents in line with agreed Care Plans. You will contribute to the efficient and effective running of the Care Home. We have full time contracts available with an hourly rate of £13.00 (from 1st April)! Shift times are 1945-0800, with alternate weekend working.
Role Responsibilities: To deliver hands on care to residents in aperson centredway. Support residents to enjoy a good quality of life. Model best practice when delivering care. Assist residents in all aspects of their physical, emotional and spiritual care needs in line with agreed care plans. Contribute to the daily records of residents. Contribute to effective teamwork and undertake tasks delegated to you efficiently and effectively. Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of adults that the post holder is responsible for orcomes into contact with. Skills and experiencerequired: Experience at Care Assistant level in a care environment is preferable Care certificate of equivalent or a willingness to achieve this in the first 12 months of employment Evidence of good care practice knowledge relating to the care of older people Demonstrate a sound knowledge of the 6 principles of care and how they underpin the delivery of care in a residential/Nursing setting.
