*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Car Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models. *Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues. * Diagnose faults using schematics and mechanical knowledge. * Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. * Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre replacements. * Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs. * Assemble or disassemble vehicle parts with precision and care. * Maintain detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work carried out. * Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. * Assist with equipment repair and maintenance to ensure workshop efficiency. * Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and answering questions professionally. * Undertake heavy lifting as required when handling vehicle parts or equipment.
*Skills*
* Strong understanding of schematics and technical diagrams. * Extensive mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components. * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. * Experience in assembly, disassembly, and repair of automotive parts. * Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle types. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. * Proven experience in equipment repair within an automotive environment.
