There are no limits to where you can take your career.Job SummaryAt our Filton site, we specialise in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies, detailed metallic components and wing systems for a combination of both civil and military aircraft.We are seeking a new CAM Engineer to join our Components Business - Machining team, where we undertake the manufacture of Metallic Aircraft components using a range of processes such as 4 / 5 axis to produce Hard and soft metal machining processes.The new Manufacturing Engineer will be experienced with CAM & Simulation software withknowledge of Siemens and Fanuc controls.The successful applicant will work a 4.5 day week, including flexi-time in a full-time permanent capacity, equating to a 35 hour week as part of a small team of Manufacturing Engineers.How You'll ContributeIn this role, you will:Be responsible for process & solution within our automated machining areaDeploy these processes with a high degree of process capability utilizing the GKN standard Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) tool suite to demonstrate as suchBe responsible for technical support of manufacturing development and integration for production.
