Summary:
Working with the Project Technicians to provide a detailed washroom layout drafting service for customer orders using 2D & 3D software applications. Provide manufacturing drawings, with hardware pick lists, for manufacturing, warehouse, and installation purposes. All functions must be performed in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
Prepares accurate washroom drawings from architectural plans.
Creates drawings by utilizing AutoCAD 2D or Inventor 3D software.
Creates material cut lists based on released project area, room phase or level.
Print manufacturing drawings for the installation team (Deeside Supply and Fix orders).
Designs and draws custom details in coordination with Technical Manager/Supervisor, as required.
Maintains all network stored project information within the Enterprise structure.
Create remedial and additional material requests in accordance with department processes.
Forward any non-drafting queries to the relevant person or department.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of design-drafting standards and practices. Must have the ability to interpret notes, sketches, specifications, architectural blueprints into manufacturing drawings for installation purposes.
Develop drawings with appropriate design criteria and DDA/ADA requirements with minimal supervision.
Produce O&M manual's.
Participate and submit new and improved work methods in alignment with the Suggested Method Improvement program.
Follow and promote safe work practices.
Report all hazards, unsafe acts and conditions immediately to your manager.
Maintain good housekeeping practices and always follow health and safety protocols.
Wears proper PPE as required.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and/or experience:
Relevant design-based degree preferable but not necessarily or 2-5 years industry experience within a CAD role.
Basic working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD and/ or Inventor.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Strong decision-making skills
Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment.
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and in a team environment.
Excellent organizational, time management and documentation skills
Adaptable, flexible and open to change.
Must be able to identify and resolve problems using sound judgement and analytical skills.
