The Opportunity
We're looking to hire a Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities and supplier management within supply chain operations across all brands and geographies within the HeliosX Group. The role will be responsible for supplier selection; sourcing of raw ingredients, products and consumables; along with the performance and cost of goods across Pharmacy and Fulfilment operations.
This is a full time, permanent role. The successful candidate will have a hybrid working arrangement split between our London offices (ideally 2 days per week based on site, though we have flexibility) and working from home.
What you'll be doing
Procurement
- Oversee all procurement activities, including negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and signing off on suppliers
- Manage relationships with CMOs, forecasting batch production and ensuring that all materials are available for production
- Ensure orders are effectively communicated to vendors, managing POs through to delivery
- Work closely with Manufacturing and New Product Development teams to identify suppliers and source materials that are cost efficient and of sufficient quality to meet specifications
- Ensure an appropriate quality management system is in place, and that all suppliers meet minimum standards
- Regular review processes are in place, driving cost, service and payment terms through supplier relationship building / management
- Continuous supplier identification - using your market understanding of the area, including competitor insight to develop compelling buying / sourcing strategies
- Performance management via a robust set of SLAs and effective reporting mechanisms
- Delivery of margin targets through negotiation and challenging supplier plans
What you'll bring to HeliosX
- Buying or procurement experience within pharmaceutical, cosmetics, beauty and/or healthcare
- Experience working within a fast-paced, complex supply chain
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; an effective relationship builder with suppliers and other stakeholders
- Strong data literacy skills, with the ability analyse data and make sound conclusions
- Track record of improving processes and building operational maturity within procurement and supply chain
- Rounded supplier and vendor management skills, covering selection, contract negotiation, and case management #LI-Hybrid
