Business Development Manager – Waste Management
Location: Cardiff
Start Date: Mid-June
Salary: 30,000 plus commission
This is a permanent, full-time role, 40 hours a week.
St David Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to work for a well-established and respected, family run recycling business, who pride themselves in delivering a high-quality service to their clients of all shapes and sizes.
Working within a highly regulated industry our client is fully accredited, qualified and compliant with all current legislation and work closely with Natural Resource Wales, ensuring best practice. Giving their customers peace of mind, knowing their waste is being handled correctly.
Due to the business expansion our client is now looking to bring in an experienced Business Development Manager.
This is a brand new and excitation position within the company, where you will bring your expertise, ambition, hunger and natural desire to succeed, to take our client’s business to the next level. Real sales, real conversations, and real results.
About you:
* Have a natural interest in the Environment & Waste sector
* Previous Business Development Experience essential
* Natural hunger to succeed
* Confident to go after new business
* Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients
* Someone who doesn’t wait for leads to come to you, you create them.
* Confident to pick up the phone and get past the “gate keeper”
* Build a strong pipeline
* Prepare monthly reports and performance reviews
* Prepare commercial offers and quotes
* Response to all enquiries in a timely manor
* IT and Administration savvy
